Eighty-third Post Ever...

So, I definitely just got back from YC!
It was so much fun, I'm not even gonna lie, it changed my life.

(and I'm pretty sure I hung out with Caity too much, I'm starting to sound like her...)

anyways.
So the 14 hour bus ride was..interesting. To say the least! We stopped a couple times, ate food...talked alot, listened to music in anticipation of YC, and all that other good stuff people do on buses. I slept for maybe 2 of the 14 hours.
yeah...I was tired.
When we got into Edmonton they dropped us off at WEM to shop all day. We spent ten flippin' hours in that mall! uh. That was way too long. But I bought some stuff...no jeans though. I wanted jeans. But they do NOT make jeans that fit me. It's not very nice. While @WED we went into GalaxyLand 'cuz JonJon had bought us passes...so we used them! We went on the big swingy thing, and on the funky planet ride, and on the smallish rollercoaster. I was going to go on the big roller coaster, but I didn't have my SWRCB so that was a good excuse.
=]

^us on the small roller coaster in WEM. I paid 4$ just to send this picture to myself!^
So after the mall we drove out to our fivestar, dinky, small, akward excuse for a hotel and checked in and put our stuff down. Then starts the actual trip! We showed up @Rexall place at about 5:30, found our seats and sat. The whole place was completely full! It was a lot of kids. Worship started around eight-ish with David Crowder Band, and that was a REALLY cool way to start off YC. They're amazing live. (most people we saw this weekend are actually WAY better live...) After DCB got off stage Mike Pilivachi came on. That guy is SO hilarious...oh man. It was the best. He talked about how God is always with us, and He likes being with us, and then they had an "alter call" I guess you could call it. There were at LEAST 50-100 people who stood up and gave their lives to God that first night. That was powerful. Then Delirious? came on...and they're so good it's pretty much craziness. The night ended at eleven, we went back to the hotel, watched food chanel and slept. (hotel beds are amazing! I won't ever complain about them again! they're definitely way better than sleeping on a bus.) So the next morning we woke up, and the first thing we did @YC was worship with Lincoln Brewster. I must admit, I'd never heard of them, but they were pretty good. Mike spoke again, this time on how God uses us, even when we're broken, lost, hurt and confused. He made a really good point on how God shows himself through our weaknesses. It was really encouraging to hear. So YC has this crazy "block schedule" thing goin' on, so first block saturday (which was from 12:30-1:30) we didn't do anything. There wasn't really anyone we wanted to see, so we shopped. I bought a hawk nelson t-shirt and a whole WACK of band buttons for on my new purse! It was fun times. Second block we went and saw Panic Squad. Those guys are SO hysterical..it was amazing. The lines to get in were crazy. We basically got eaten by the line to get in, and shoved to the front, so that was good. Chantelle and I left the thing early to get in line for Panic Squad's autographs. They signed my headband. It was pretty neat! Third block Saturday we all went and found seats in Hall D for Leeland. Leeland is a band named after the lead singer, Leeland. Yeah. They were amazing. The lead singer is only 18, and he's got the perfect voice and he seems really mature. It was pretty sweet. Fourth block was the Hawk Nelson concert. <3>
